Frequently asked questions

Is this a fully private boat?

The headline product is sold per person on a shared yacht kept to a small group — that is how it reaches ฿3,600 rather than ฿30,000. Most operators also sell the whole boat as a true private charter; if exclusivity matters (proposal, family day), say so when booking and get the private option confirmed in writing.

Why Koh Phai and Koh Rin instead of Koh Larn?

Distance keeps the day-tripper crowds away. Both islands sit further out, with visibly clearer water and better snorkeling than Koh Larn’s busy beaches. Koh Phai is Navy-administered, so landings can be restricted — swimming and snorkeling happen off the boat, which suits a yacht day anyway.

Is the sunset guaranteed?

The timing is — the boat returns through golden hour. The sky is not: November to February gives the most reliable clear horizons, while monsoon months (May–October) can serve cloudbanks or an afternoon squall. That is the Gulf, not the operator.

Can we bring our own drinks?

Many boats allow bring-your-own alcohol or sell it on board; policies differ by operator, so ask when booking rather than turning up with a cooler. Soft drinks and water are included.

Is it suitable for children or older guests?

Yes — yachts are stable, shaded and unhurried, and snorkel stops are optional. Boarding at the marina uses a proper gangway rather than a beach wade, which older guests appreciate. Child-size life vests are carried; confirm ages when booking.
