We're not a faceless booking portal — we travel to Pattaya, pay the same prices you do, and write down exactly what we find.
Pattaya Excursions exists because most of what you read about Pattaya tours online is written by people who have never taken them. We do it differently: we go, we pay out of our own pocket, we photograph the ticket counters and price boards, and we tell you when a famous attraction is not worth your money.
What we do
- Test and review Pattaya's most popular excursions — Koh Larn, Sanctuary of Truth, Nong Nooch, water parks and more
- Compare booking options (online platforms vs. street agents vs. doing it yourself) with real THB prices
- Help cruise passengers docking at Laem Chabang pick shore excursions that fit their port hours
- Publish honest, practical guides: transport, seasons, scams to avoid, where to stay
Who writes this site
Pattaya Excursions is written by The Pattaya Insider — a travel writer who has been coming to Pattaya regularly since 2009, from long solo stays in the early years to recent family holidays with a wife and a six-year-old son, usually based on the Jomtien side. That mix matters: this site covers Pattaya both as a solo destination and as a family one, from first-hand experience of each. In August 2026 we're back on the ground for a full month, re-testing every excursion on this site and photographing everything — prices, piers, ticket counters — as we go.
How we make money
Some links on this site are affiliate links to booking platforms such as Klook and GetYourGuide. If you book through them, we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. That never changes what we recommend — when the cheapest or best option is to book on the spot or take the public ferry, we say so.
