Why Beach Road matters
Pattaya Beach spans about three kilometres of the city’s fifteen‑kilometre coastline, and Beach Road runs alongside this popular stretch. The beach is open all day, entry is free and it draws both locals and tourists for sun, sea and socialising. During daylight hours the area offers a range of water‑sports, while at night the same strip transforms into a corridor of bars that spill onto the sand. Its central location makes it a natural hub for exploring nearby attractions such as the Sanctuary of Truth or a day trip to Koh Larn. Because the promenade is continuous, you can walk from the quieter northern hotels to the bustling southern entertainment zone without needing transport.
